New Knives.
I have been eyeing these Opinel knives for awhile, seeing them regularly on blogs and in books in the service of camping, fishing, and general outdoor goodness. I realized I am super late to the party on this one, so I decided it was time to pick up a couple, and I am glad I did. Affordable and made from quality materials, the Opinel knives are as effective as they are beautiful.

Mate, they’re super cheap, do a great job and look not half bad. Pretty good value for $30
Agreed! I also like how light in the hand they are, particularly the No. 8.
I love my Opinel knife (No. 8, Carbon) and use it many times a day. I’ve had my eye on their bread knife, but now I see I’m going to have to get one with a corkscrew as well.
They are a basic in Europe (in France anyway), love them!
