Mapping the Future
I haven’t been posting as much recently. I just began a graduate program in GIScience, which is the science behind mapping and spatial analysis using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). While the program is going well, I am not spending NEARLY enough time in the woods, and I haven’t even picked a single chanterelle this Fall. So on account of the fact that it still relates to my studies, and yet I get a little much-needed outdoor inspiration, I looked up these short videos from Parks Canada. I could stand doing what these fellas are doing when I finish up next Fall…

I know what you mean. College has taken away all my free time and it kills me to stay inside studying when the sun is shining and the trees are changing color.
Every free minute, i try to spend it outside.
Good luck on your program, sounds like a foreign language to me but it sounds interesting!
I just (early october) came back from three weeks travelling through Alberta/BC/PNW (as you must know from Instagram).
I’d leave tomorrow if I could!
Can I join you next fall?
Sara
I definitely saw your Instagram feed from the PNW. I almost had to stop following you on account of jealousy! It looked like an amazing trip!
It really was an amazing trip! I was looking forward to it for so long and I still can’t believe I actually canoed on Moraine lake and biked around Stanley Park.
Wish I could go back!
