Eric Valli
Thanks to the Creak of Boots, I recently rediscovered the work of French photographer Eric Valli, whose story of Nepali honey hunters in National Geographic was utterly captivating…one of those that you never forget about.
His online portfolio is a testament to his evident adventurous spirit; there are some images in the collection, particularly of the honey hunters, that will make you dizzy if you are afraid of heights.

And if his photography wasn’t great enough on its own, Valli also boasts an Oscar nomination for his 1999 film Himalaya.
